Sometimes robust, raw and imposing, sometimes fragile and delicate, the objects are useful or decorative but without a shadow
of a doubt, witnesses to our passage. At Soeur, we wish to highlight a selection of handcrafted objects
and the people who bring them to life.
In limited edition, our first "Objects" collaboration with Julia & Tom, architects in the Pyrenees.
Three years ago, the duo settled in the Basque Country to restore an old farmhouse; the building bears the name Indaburuko
Borda, "The house at the end of the path". The choice to settle in this place led Julia & Tom to reconnect with the skills and
ways of life of the valley's inhabitants. Their encounter with local artisans gave birth to numerous projects. The wrought-iron
candleholders, Floor, Corner and Wall, are among the first examples.
